Terms of Use

1. The agreement

These Terms of Use form a binding agreement between you ("the User") and Monstead Investment Platform, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11928475 ("Monstead", "we", "us"). By creating an account, depositing funds or using any part of the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms together with our Privacy Policy and Risk Disclosure.

2. Eligibility

To open an account you must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United Kingdom. You must not be subject to any legal restriction that prevents you from using trading services. We may request proof of identity, age and residence at any time and may suspend accounts pending verification.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through your account.
• You must provide accurate, current information during registration and keep it up to date.
• You may hold only one account unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, are used fraudulently, or are involved in money laundering or other unlawful activity.

4. Deposits and withdrawals

The minimum initial deposit is £250. Deposits may be made by bank transfer, Visa, Mastercard or PayPal and are held in segregated accounts with regulated partners. Withdrawal requests are processed within one to three working days following standard identity checks. We do not charge withdrawal fees, although your bank or payment provider may apply its own charges.

5. Fees

Opening and holding an account is free. We charge spreads and, where applicable, overnight financing fees, which are displayed before each trade is placed. The current fee schedule forms part of these terms and may be updated with 30 days' notice. No fee will be charged to you that has not been disclosed in advance.

6. Trading and market risk

All trading decisions remain yours. The platform provides analysis, signals and information only, none of it constitutes personal financial advice. Signals include explanations and suggested risk parameters, but you are solely responsible for every trade you place and for every loss that results. Please read our Risk Disclosure in full before trading.

7. Prohibited conduct

• Using the platform for market manipulation, wash trading or any abusive practice.
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to the platform, its systems or other users' accounts.
• Using automated tools that interfere with the normal operation of the platform.
• Providing false information or impersonating another person.
• Using the platform in connection with fraud, money laundering or the proceeds of crime.

8. Intellectual property

The Monstead name, logo, platform design, software and all content published on monsteadinvestmentplatform.com are the property of Monstead Investment Platform or its licensors. You may use the platform for personal, non-commercial trading purposes only. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute any part of the platform without our prior written consent.

9. Availability and maintenance

We aim to keep the platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend service for maintenance, security or regulatory reasons, and we are not liable for losses arising from planned or unplanned downtime, connectivity failures or events beyond our reasonable control.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Monstead Investment Platform is not liable for trading losses, loss of profits, or indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time by withdrawing your balance and contacting support. We may terminate or suspend your account with notice where you breach these terms, where we are required to do so by law, or where continuing to provide services would expose us or other users to risk.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you by email or through the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising under them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
